Surveys:
Welcome! Thank you for your interest in this research, and your willingness to contribute to our knowledge about planning education and practice. I have two active surveys for you to consider taking. Links to the surveys (hosted on SurveyMonkey) and descriptions of each, are below.
GENERAL PLANNING SURVEY
This survey has a total of 30 questions. This survey instrument is based on one used nearly 20 years ago, with some synthesis of the content from several others administered since then, but which were abridged versions of even earlier instruments. I believe it is important to use these longer surveys more frequently (annually, actually) so that we can gather and analyze more granular data to understand the impact planning education is having on practice and how well it is meeting the expectations and needs of each new cohort of planners. Grab your favorite drink, take a break, and help make planning education better! Current statistics (7-9-19) indicate it will take an average of 10 minutes to complete this survey.

PLANNER POLITICIAN SURVEY
This survey instrument is a pilot instrument both because I do not believe the questions on it have been asked of planners before, and because this is the first iteration of the instrument. At the end of the survey you will be asked if you are willing to participate in future surveys on this topic and if so, to provide your contact information. Current statistics (7-9-19) indicate it will take an average of 3 minutes to complete this survey.
